BioDiversity Event: Meet at Dougs Cove to assist with this biodiversity survey

Discover What Lives in Lagoon Pond!

Join the LPA on Sunday June 22 for our Biodiversity Survey.

Training starts at 12:30 PM before the seining (netting) and identification fun begins for the afternoon!

Meet at Doug’s Cove (the beach in OB adjacent to Brush Pond near the bridge). Access via Beach Road.  As there is a limited  amount of parking at Doug's Cove we ask that you park at Eastville Beach Parking Lot and walk over Beach Rd to the Cove.

Those using the seine net bring waders or wear old shoes. Fish counters wear knee-high boots or old shoes. Kids are welcome---bring sand pails and fish nets!  Anticipated length of event: 2.5-3 hours. No dogs please.

 Hope to see you there.
